Ticket & T-Shirt ORDER FORM / T-Shirt EXAMPLE

It's On October 4
4th gathering of Baltimore musicians and their guests.
It is non-commercial and not open to the general public. We encourage all musicians to bring your instrument and play... regardless of how long it's been... and invite as many guests, family and friends, as you like. Spread the word to others and come join us - the more, the merrier. Play some music. See some people you haven't seen in years.

Feature
Bobby B's Palace was once a club called Hoffman's. Many of the bands represented at the jam session played there. The owner was Al Hoffman, and he had a band called The Charades that also played there. Al was the vocalist and they were great. Al stopped in at the last Jam, and this time we've tapped him to sing a set. The plan is to put a "big" band behind him. Other members of The Charades might make it, but that's not for sure. It's a "jam session" after all ... nothings for certain until it happens, but that's the plan.

The Majestics are coming toplay. This group has endured and prospered since the mid-'60s and still works steady. They're bound to be well-rehearsed and great to hear.

Spread The Word

"The more, the merrier" rules, so look up an old band mate or tell a friend. The club is ours and it holds 500 people. The best would be if it took until midnight for everybody to get a chance to play.

If You're Flying
There are new rules from the TSA regarding carrying musical instruments onto planes. These are TSA rules that apply to security check points, but individual airlines may have their own policies. Our best advice:

  • print it out and take it with you to the airport
  • check the specific regulations for the airline you're flying
  • take a direct flight if possible

OUR MISSION:
We call these musical get-togethers a Jam Session because at a jam session it doesn't matter who is who, who knows who, who did what, who is doing what or who plans to do what. All that matters is who shows up. It's not a performance and not a show. Everybody buys a ticket and comes to play... for each other. There are no rankings, no preferences and no privileges.
